My First Experience as 'Zhi Mui'

I'm 22 and at this age, it's really rare to find friends or people that I know whom have plans to get married soon. People that I know from work are either already married or not in the near future to get married.... except for one.......

My BOSS.

I can't believe I lost my virginity as a Zhi Mui to my own Boss!!

There are so many things that I could describe about her (if you're reading this, don't get angry ok cos this is the truth). When I came into the interview, I was shocked by her name because she shares the same name as my mom's! (pronunciation only). As if my mom is not fierce and strict enough... I need to face another fiercer one at work. If corporate world is tough for a fresh grad, my boss made my journey a lot tougher. From being a person whom made me cry every single day after work in which I told myself I need to resign over and over again, I have experienced her changing a lot to whom she is now. I know because currently, I am her longest serving surbordinat. She used to be the type who changes your memo, emails, marketing plans for more than 8 times before it gets approved by her and also shouts on top of her lungs and demand you to be in her room no matter what you were doing at that moment. If you have done something wrong, you'll be scolded like hell and expects you to settle your own problems. Can you imagine the stress and sadness I undergo each day?

Nah, I've experienced all that and is kind of immune to it. Somehow, I've already adjusted to her working behaviour but also am relieved that she has changed so much over the past few months. She is now someone whom you can talk to and things are negotiable now. As her surbordinate, I have agreed to become her 'zhi mui' (sister) on her wedding day which took place in Seremban.

Reached Her Seremban Hometown @ 10am

Omg look at my bitchy expression!

At about 2pm, we moved back to their own house in Shah Alam

The 'Snacks' Team.... that was then. We all have been re-shuffled as it was Management's decision.

My boss calls me 'Little Tiger' because both of us are under the Tiger Chinese Zodiac.

We managed to get RM 200++ Zhi Mui Ang Pow each for 6 person after deducting some expenses.... Hoho!

The next night, it was the Wedding Dinner @ Jaya Palace

The 5 of us below were to collect Ang Pows, tick for their attendances and and to be usherers

Pictures During The Dinner

Because all ladies in URC physically are ladies but internally are men (we carry stocks at work), guess who helped to 'Yum Seng' with every single table with the couple that night?

Yeah, us ladies! Read that right - Every Single Table.

At the end of the dinner, the ladies were to fight for the bouquet of flowers when my Boss toss it on the air. Whoever to get the flowers is believed will get married very fast too. The flowers almost came to me but I ran away! In fact everyone ran away except for Shirley because...

Choi! We all don't want to get married so fast!!!

Bangkok Jazz @ Chulan Square

After movie & dinner at Cineleisure along with Ian and Jasmine, it'd be such a waste if we end our Saturday night just like that hence Greg and I proceeded to Bangkok Jazz @ Chulan Square KL with Faurani.

We ordered a jug of Sangria and Long Island @ RM 75 each jug to chill the whole night. Long Island was good but Sangria was not really recommended. When you mix these two together, we managed to get ourselves high that night.

I never liked Jazz but the live band at Bangkok Jazz wasn't really hardcore pure Jazz so it was pretty good for me :)

Pictures Of Us Doing Nothing:

I spent the night listening to Faurani lecturing till Bangkok Jazz closes. Overall, it was a fun night as I never liked going to clubs as those places are way too noisy and smokey for me.

Burglary at Office!

I was as usual late to work and when I exited from my car, I heard some knockings on the window thinking it was my colleagues knocking from the pantry at my department. Then, when I approached the main door, I saw 2 of my colleagues knocking it from inside and I was thinking to myself,

"Walao 2 fellas also didn't bring the tag down to open the door??"

Mana tahu when I opened the door, they said to me,

"Today no need to do work. Our office got broken into and all computers gone! Not April's Fool joke!"

I was like Errrr..... but still I went up to the department with my bags and all as usual, and MY GOD!

The guard said he didn't know a thing!

My Place

My cubicle was the messiest after the break-in and my CPU and Flat Screen are gone!

They broke a hole to get in because the Manager locked her room

Coincidently, all the Managers did not bring back their laptops that night! A lot of out documents and information are all GONE!

We called the police and they came shortly after. Then, my colleagues went to the police station to do a report because she came to the office earliest and noticed something amiss when she saw papers lying around and the department's door was left open (which is normally closed). Then, to her horror, all the computers were gone and everything was so messy!

The window we all suspected the burglars went in from

Everyone followed the police to find the bukti

The GM whom was scheduled to fly to Manila for the Regional Meeting came back to access the losses and to see for himself the burglary that took place ONLY in the MARKETING department (so weird).

After about 1 hour, the CSI a.k.a Forensic team came to look for fingerprints

The CSI guy told me that those black powder are imported from U.S and contains materials from the Volcano!

The news of our office got robbed was spread really fast until Thailand, Johore and Singapore offices were all aware of it. I am sure all regions will know about it soon when my GM attends the Regional Meeting!

The GM has also made arrangements to get us a BRAND NEW LAPTOP each but it might take a while so meantime, he has gotten us RENTED COMPUTERS so that we can start work immediately -.-" because once Marketing is down, almost everything is at a stand-still.

VERY SMART because in the future, we need to work 24/7 even at home and weekends!

AHhhhhhhhh!!!!
